Wolves vs Liverpool
Premier League | 15th March 2021 | 20.00pm

Neither team has been exactly prolific in front of goal recently but with key players coming back for Liverpool could that be about to change?
In their last 5 Premier League games Liverpool have surprisingly only scored 3 goals and have blanked 3 times. This is not the free flowing in attack Liverpool we are used to but with Fabinho back in midfield and Jota returning to full fitness could that be about to change? The 2-0 win against RB Leipzig in the Champions League certainly hints so.
It is also worth nothing that Liverpool's problems have been at home where they have scored 1 goal in 5 games. Away they have scored 9 goals in 5 games and they are away tonight.
Wolves
Wolves haven't won for 3 games now, drawing 0-0 with Aston Villa, losing to Man City and drawing with Newcastle. They have though scored in 4 of their last 5 games.
They have struggled for corners winning, 3, 2 and 5 and have only received 1 card in their last 3 games. Neto has been consistent for shots on target with 6 in his last 5 games.
In those last 3 games, Salah has had 3 shots on target and Jota 4.
Liverpool
Liverpool have won 1 of their last 7 in the Premier League, a quite incredible stat for the defending champions. They lost 1-0 to Fulham in their last game, lost to Chelsea before that and beat Sheffield United in the game prior to that.
Corners are pretty good at 5, 9 and 5. They have only received 2 cards in their last 3.
Head to Head
The last game between the pair was a 4-0 win for Liverpool back in December. The goals were scored by Salah, Wijnaldum, Matip and a Semedo own goal.
We had 10 corners, 4 for Liverpool and 6 for Wolves. Yellow cards we had 1 each.
If we are going to possibly see a lack of goals i think backing Liverpool corners could be the route forward and i like the value on the below.
Our Betting Tips:
Liverpool Over 2 Corners In Each Half 5/2
Back it here.
Prediction:
0-2
Team News
Wolves are hoping Daniel Podence could return to the squad after injury, but Marcal is still out and Raul Jimenez is a long-term absentee. Wolves have returned to a back three recently but could switch shape given Liverpool’s recent wins over Leipzig and Sheffield United both came against that system.
Liverpool are without centre-backs Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip for the season. Jordan Henderson is also out, while sub keeper Caoimhin Kelleher is almost ready to return after an abdominal injury.
