Saturday 29th May 15.00pm
It’s the Championship Play Off Final on Saturday and Brentford take on Swansea City at Wembley. We take a look at the stats and best football tips.
It’s the Championship Play Off Final this weekend and it’s an absolutely huge game for both Brentford and Swansea in a match said to be worth £180 million. Brentford have lost nine times in the play offs and will be hoping to make it tenth time lucky after their dramatic victory over AFC Bournemouth in the semi final.
These two teams have an interesting head to head record. Both games in the Championship this season finished 1-1 so it’s fair to say there is not much between the sides and we can expect a tight game. The sides also met in the play off semi final last year and Brentford managed to make the final with a 3-1 win at home after losing 1-0 away.
Brentford – Form
The bees have won five of their last six games and prior to the first leg semi final defeat to Bournemouth had gone twelve games unbeaten in the league. Brentford have scored sixteen goals in their last ten and have been good defensively keeping six clean sheets in that period.
